Yeah I’ve seen that one. The gas tank door thing and the general state of the exterior probably says more about the condition of the car than what the ad says. The one that I saw had many problems, and in the ad, the seller only stated the power steering pump was the only issue.
And that’s major CP, which means I probably couldn’t talk them down enough to make it the right price. But who knows...

LS400. Just do it...

Nah, I’m all ‘bout that CoupeLyfe, with the possible exception of a GS400/430. The LS400 hasn’t aged as well as the SC has.

Yeah, those are awful. I’ve often wondered what kind of decision making skills people have when it comes to automotive accessories.

Hmm. I think the opposite is true. And I actually considered a GS400 before I bought my LS.

Wheels are easy to change. It’s really unfortunate how popular the SC’s are with the donk crowd.

But I don’t necessarily want to buy new wheels on top of a car.

The trick to the LS400 is LS430 wheels.

Apparently the engine was replaced with a used engine. Run.

Well yeah, I’m just saying as far as bad mods go it’s not the most difficult to undo.

True, but I’d need high-quality aftermarket wheels or OEM wheels, both of which are quite expensive.

I’m not concerned about engines. it’s a rotary I’ll tear it down for a refresh anyway. Or even a 13b swap.
Clean shell is what’s hard to find.

I was shopping for some IS300 5-spokes to put on my mom’s SC400 and it was still pretty pricey even for reman wheels. Couldn’t find used ones. Those are the best OEM wheels to go on it IMO.

Not really. tire rack has some great wheels not very expensive.
